Shen Pangeng is a master of the Erhu (Chinese 2 string bowed instrument) with a repertoire of traditional and contemporary Chinese & Western music. Mr Shen originally hailed from Nanjiing in China where he was associate professor of music at Nanjiing University. He settled in Melbourne Australia in 1989 and has been teaching Chinese culture and music at Penleigh & Essendon Grammar School.

These two CDs display the unusual sound of the Erhu and Mr Shen's unique style.
